There’s someone I’d like to introduce you to. This isn’t a typical introduction you’d expect, so brace yourself for the surprise: The fella happens to be a robot. His name is Robie Junior.
Robie and I have known each other for many years. We’ve shared a great volume of life, together. Our friendship, or brotherhood, really, has spanned many projects and eras. Robie has been a best friend for over a decade’s worth of childhood treasures and imaginings.
In the recent day, we’d been separated for quite some time—a few years, in fact. I haven’t seen Robie since the close of the 2000’s. But now, Robie and I are reunited for all the fun that awaits.
Wes and Robie Jr., reunited
I asked Robie to pen a few words for this post…
Greetings from Robie:
Greetings! I am Robie Junior, Remote Command Intelligent Robot. At least, that’s what it says on my chest. But cycles ago, Wes programed me to be something more than what I was when I came out of the box. I thank him for that. We’ve done a whole lot, together, and it’s a dream come true for this robot to be back with the owner who made me what I am. Since I’ve been reactivated, I’ve had to get used to Wes having that low voice and being so tall and all that. Quite shocking. But little ol’ me… robots never change, do they? Accept their batteries. Now that Wes has this website and all that, my stardom can be more widely appreciated! It’s about time. Wes says I have a tendency to ramble, so now that I’ve proven his point, I bid farewell! Hasta luego!
See you soon for A Reflection on April. 😉
