Hello friends,

I hope you enjoyed This Time in History: The Battle of Gettysburg. Now, it’s time to unveil the blooper reel.

Who doesn’t love bloopers? Back in late January, after completing the film, I had a rowdy time revisiting the spry, imperfect moments that made up our shoot, for a blooper reel.

Whether you want ’em, or not, you’re guaranteed to have bloopers on your hands. I attribute this to working with people, and being one. We worked hard, but we weren’t humorless one-take wonders, by any means.

A blooper reel can poke fun at the cast—at their flubs—or, laughs with the cast, at the quips made along the way.

Bloopers are an infamous extension that has the freedom to be weird, wacky, and chiefly, not in line with the structure and finality of the final product.

The film had closely three hours of raw footage. The final film was sixteen minutes. We got the job done, and had a good time.

On another note, I’ve been cranking hard on the Trekkies Into Darkness page. Once the beast is conquered, it’ll be a real treat. Until then, my fingertips remain ablaze.

As we wrap up February, I have something to close it off with as a bow on top. I will introduce the first exclusive.

An exclusive will be a video that is only released, here, on the home of Wes Brooks Productions. Deleted scenes, bonus contents; overall, things I’d rather give a private release of, is what I have in mind for the exclusive.

The curtain rolls down for the month on February 27th, with the twice-as-long, This Time in History: The Battle of Gettysburg Extended Blooper Reel. 😉

Enjoy,

~Wes
